About

Made for people who'd rather talk.

Yapper exists because dictation should feel instant — and because the tool we used got bloated with features we didn't need.

Yapper is built by Lewis Jackson and a small team in London. We believe voice should be the default input for anything longer than a search query, and that the only way to get there is obsessive latency engineering and a stubborn refusal to add features nobody asked for.

We’d been paying for a competitor for a while. It was good — until it wasn’t quite. So we trimmed it down to the one thing we actually use and made it faster.
